For some time we have observed that there are increasingly more companies and organizations that incorporate communication and value creation strategies in social networks. This new network work model is leading us to a more open governance system with a more effective, efficient and transparent provision of services, which aims to co-responsibilitize citizens and the other players involved (especially professionals).
According to the study Social Media around the world 2010 carried out in fourteen countries around the world, 72% of the people interviewed stated that they were present on at least one social network. Furthermore, the users declared that they connected to these on average twice a day. However, 55% cannot access from the workplace. In this regard, some organizations have decided to restrict in varying degrees access to social networks in the work environment. What is the situation of the Administration?
